Systron EMV GmbH - Magnetic Shielding
Systron EMV GmbH was founded in 1993 by Robert Hauri and Rudolf Käppeli and is specialised in planning, production, distribution and installation of passive magnetic shielding and active magnetic field compensation system.
Many products and shielding systems were developed by Systron itself, some in cooperation with partners. The collaboration with the electrical utility company of Zurich, EWZ, resulted in the "Systron PowerShield®", a magnetic shielding system suitable to shield rooms, large areas or components to protect from electromagnetic fields.
The activities of Systron EMV GmbH include the production, distribution and installation of systems for the reduction of low frequency magnetic fields as caused by transformer stations, electric cables, railway lines, power lines and NMR 's, but also by electronic devices or magnets. The product range includes not only the passive mu-metal shielding systems but also active compensation systems. Additionally, modelling of the magnetic fields of electrical equipment such as transformer stations, electrical systems, railway lines or high voltage cables are carried out for the visualization of the magnetic fields using Finite Element Modeling software, FEM or other modeling Software.
Systron EMV GmbH, Switzerland, is based in Dürnten, Zurich Oberland and works closely together with Systron EMV GmbH, Schwabach, Germany. However, despite sharing the same name, the companies are legally independent.
