With the Systron PowerShield® room shielding system, entire buildings, stories or single rooms are effectively shielded against low frequency magnetic fields of railway systems or high voltage power lines. Systron PowerShield® room shielding system is primarily used to shield low frequency magnetic fields such as 16.7Hz or 50Hz. The system is based on magnetically and electrically conductive plates. The plates are installed inside the rooms on walls, ceilings and floors or on the buildings outside.
 
Systron PowerShield® room shielding system has been succesfully installed in surgery and intensive care rooms in hospitals to protect sensitive equipment such as EEG, ECG, EMG from electromagnetic fields. In other applications, office spaces have been protected from the fields of nearby railway systems.
